Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Servings: 4

Ingredients:

1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced

3 cups broccoli florets

1 onion, sliced

2 cloves of garlic, minced

2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce

2 tablespoons oyster sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

2 tablespoons water

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions:

In a small bowl, combine the low-sodium soy sauce and oyster sauce to make the sauce. In a separate small bowl, mix the cornstarch and water to create a slurry.

Set the Instant Pot to “Sauté” mode and heat the vegetable oil. Add the beef slices and cook until browned. Remove the beef from the Instant Pot and set aside.

In the same pot, add the onion, garlic, and broccoli florets. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender. Return the beef to the Instant Pot and pour the sauce over the ingredients. Close the Instant Pot lid and set the pressure valve to the sealing position.

Select the “Manual” or “Pressure Cook” function and set the Cook Time to 5 minutes. Once the cooking cycle is complete, do a quick release to release the pressure.

Carefully open the Instant Pot lid, select the “Sauté” function, and add the cornstarch slurry to the beef and broccoli.

Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve garnished with sesame seeds.
